Storm Preparation - Proactive Lowering of Lake Level

The Town of Lake Lure will be lowering the lake levels outside of the normal operating range in preparation for the weather predictions from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The normal operating range is 990.5 to 989.5 MSL.  The current lake level is at 989.99 and we are actively lowering the lake down to 988.5.  Please stay tuned for updates.
