Morse Park Soft Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
The Town of Lake Lure's Morse Park was devastated by debris, silt, and sedimentation during Hurricane Helene. The Public Work's Department has been working tirelessly to remove the debris, silt, and sedimentation from the Park. They have begun landscaping the East end of Morse Park (near the Marina and Gazebo) so the public can enjoy this amenity. The West end of the Park (near Town Hall) will continue to be used for the Lake restoration project.
The Mayor and Town Officials would like to invite the public to celebrate this small victory with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Soft Opening of Morse Park. Please join us as we take stock of this step forward in our recovery process.
