Power Outage Update Monday, December 4, 2023

Duke Energy has been in touch with Town Leadership to advise that a proactive power outage will occur around noon today. The outage will impact a small number of citizens on the east end of Town and is expected to last a short time. Duke has helicoptered in a chainsaw crew to remove trees and branches from the air that caused the power outage over the weekend. If you look closely at the attached photo you can see the helicopter with the crew below. Updates will be provided here. Thank you for your patience as this work is completed.
