Traffic Advisory - One Lane Closure Now Planned for Tuesday, 1/16/24 - Buffalo Shoals Road

Please note that Duke Energy is planning to close one lane near 2367 Buffalo Shoals Road to remove a damaged tree, if it does not come down on its own with the rain and wind that is expected this week. 

  • The tree removal is now scheduled for Tuesday, 1/16/24 (due to the weather forecast for rain on 1/12/24).
  • The work is estimated to take approximately 4 hours. 
  • The exact work schedule time is uncertain/subject to competing priorities for equipment and crews.   
  • Traffic will be able to get through, but one lane will be closed slowing passage on the road. 
  • The map below shows the location of the tree.
