Lake Lure's current Lake Level is 986.94 Mean Sea Level (MSL) as of 3/15/25. Full pond is now 990.5 MSL. 

  • The plan is to begin lowering the lake a foot a day until we reach 978.00 MSL.

  • As we have been reporting, the Town of Lake Lure is lowering the Lake for the ongoing work with the US Army Corps of Engineers and AshBritt Environmental on removing debris, silt, and sedimentation, which will now be focused on the subsurface level.

  • Updates will be posted here if there are further changes in the Lake Level.
