Flash Flood Warning

The Town of Lake Lure sounded the sirens due to the risk of flash floods in the area. Please use caution around low-lying areas including rivers and streams and any areas subject to flooding. The lake is being lowered to accommodate incoming rain and water from surrounding tributaries. Call 911 if you have an emergency.
