WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 1 AM EST SATURDAY.

* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 to 50 mph expected at times. 

* WHERE...Northeast Georgia, Upstate South Carolina, and the southern foothills and piedmont of western North Carolina. 

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 1 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
