ARTIC COLD FRONT: The National Weather Service has issued this Hazardous Weather Outlook for western North Carolina.

An arctic cold front will generate snow showers across the North Carolina mountains tonight. The higher snowfall amounts will range between one and possibly three inches across elevations
above 3500 feet.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN: Friday through Wednesday.

An arctic front will move through the area early Friday, resulting
in plummeting temperatures and gusty winds. Wind chill values will
likely fall below 0 degrees.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM FRIDAY TO 1 PM
EST SATURDAY BELOW 3500 FEET...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 25 below zero.

* WHERE...Henderson, Caldwell Mountains, Burke Mountains and Rutherford Mountains Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Friday to 1 PM EST Saturday.
