Updated Town Ordinance - Parking

Town Council amended the Town Code on 12/13/22 to clarify that parking violations will be treated as civil citations as opposed to misdemeanors. This change allows the Town to keep the civil penalties collected whereas charging them as infractions means that any fines collected must be turned over to the local Board of Education per the NC Constitution.
