Hazardous Weather Outlook - Tuesday, July 18, 2022

The National Weather Service has issued the following hazardous weather outlook for Western North Carolina.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this evening, with numerous coverage possible over the mountains. A few of these storms will be strong and may become severe. The main threats will be localized damaging winds, dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning, and heavy downpours. Localized flash flooding can`t be ruled out with slow moving storms.
