Town of Lake Lure, NC Forecast - Please plan for additional snow and possible ice later this week, according to the National Weather Service.

DAY ONE...Today and tonight: Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday: Wintry precipitation is likely to develop across the western
Carolinas and northeast Georgia in the Thursday night through Saturday morning period, with Friday evening and Friday night having the best chance of accumulating snow, and possibly accumulating ice.

Uncertainty remains in this forecast, but it is increasingly likely that up to 1.5 inches of snow will accumulate across the area.
