2022 Lake Lure Dam Penstock Inspection

One of the important projects that have been completed during the Lake Drawdown was the Lake Lure Dam Penstock warranty inspection.  The inspection was conducted on Thursday, January 7, 2022. The person in the photo with the orange hard hat is Tom Iseley, Ph.D., P.E., Dist. M. ASCE, PWAM, Professor of Engineering Practice, Beavers Heavy Construction Distinguished Fellow, Construction Engineering and Management, Purdue University.  He joined Lake Lure Public Services Director Dean Lindsey on the warranty inspection. The penstock inspection was successfully completed. There is some minor warranty work that will be completed by the end of January 2022.
