Winter Weather!

Hazardous Weather Outlook: The National Weather Service  has issued this Hazardous Weather Outlook for northeast Georgia, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

DAY ONE: Today and tonight.

Light snow may occur in the mountains tonight and Thursday morning as a low pressure system tracks south of the region. Impactful accumulation is not currently expected.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN: Thursday through Tuesday.

Another, stronger low pressure system is forecast to move through the southern Appalachian region Friday night and Saturday. This system will bring a better chance for a wintry mix of precipitation, with accumulating snow and ice possible Friday night into Saturday.
