We Need Your Help ~ LAKE LURE OLYMPIAD ~ COOKIES! ~ BROWNIES! ~ SANDWICHES!
The Lake Lure Olympiad i scheduled for August 11-13, 2023. Many athletes will be in town participating in the events, and they like to eat! Once again, the Olympiad Committee has asked our neighbors if they would bake cookies or brownies....or perhaps make peanut butter & jelly or pimento sandwiches for this year's athletes. If you would like to participate, please bake (or buy) at least 2 dozen cookies/brownies (or more), and/or make a loaf of sandwiches, we would appreciate your donation.
- Please put 2 or 3 cookies or brownies in a baggie.
- If your cookie/brownie has nuts or is gluten-free please write that on the outside of the baggie.
- Please cut the sandwiches in half and also put these into baggies.
DROP OFF OPTIONS
- Please bring your cookies/brownies/sandwiches to the Library on Thursday, 8/10/23 between the hours of 10:00am-5:30pm or on Friday,, 8/11/23 by 2:00pm.
- If you would rather take your cookies/brownies to Fairfield Mountains Chapel, you can do that on Friday, 8/11/23 between 10:00am-4:00pm.
