Traffic Updates

 We have been advised of the following traffic updates: 

• Hwy 9 from Lake Lure toward Columbus and Interstate 26 is clear.
• Hwy 64/74 from Lake Lure to Rutherfordton is clear.
• Hwy 64/74 from Lake Lure to Asheville is clear. 
• Hwy 9 from Bat Cave to Black Mountain is clear.  
• Hwy 64 from Bat Cave to Hendersonville is still blocked and will be blocked for some time although crews are on the scene and working to resolve the issues. 

We apologize for any inconvenience. Crews are on the scene in Henderson County working to clear the roadways. As additional information becomes available we will provide updates.

Update 8-18-21 4:30 p.m.: We are pleased to report that the Henderson County Sheriff's dispatch office advises that Highway 64 from Bat Cave to Hendersonville is now open with one lane. Thank you for your patience while Crews resolve these roadway issues.

Update 8-19-21 8:30 a.m.: We are pleased to report that all roadways are now open.
