On Thursday, CCC staff and volunteers visited Lake Lure to deliver an incredible donation from Grundéns. During their visit, the CCC shared boxes of heavy-duty boots, bibs, jackets, and hoodies to the Town of Lake Lure, NC Parks, Recreation, and Lake employees who are assisting with the recovery efforts following #hurricanehelene.
Town officials expressed their gratitude, stating that this equipment is exactly what the workers need for the demanding and strenuous tasks they’ve been tackling day after day since the storm hit on September 27th.
A HUGE thank you to Jim Kershaw of Grundéns for this generous donation—it’s making a significant difference in the lives of those who are helping with the Towns recovery process.
