Temporary Water Shut Off - Downtown Lake Lure

Unfortunately there is a main line water break in downtown Lake Lure.  The Town water system had to be shut down while repairs are being made. Crews are on the scene making repairs. Updates will be posted as more information becomes available.

12/15/24 Update

The Town of Lake Lure is pleased to report that the water has been restored to the properties affected by the water main break on 12/14/24.  Town crews are still working to restore l the downtown system for businesses and will provide an update upon completion.   A Boil Advisory Notice is in effect until the water can be tested. This applies to properties from Memorial Highway Bridge to Town limits on Highway 9. This will be done as quickly as possible and an update will be provided here. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience as this matter is resolved.
