Sweet September Morning
Sweet September morning, whisper me a tune.
Chimes of silver are so sweet, beneath your orange plume.
Sweet September morning, clouds are in the sky.
Sweep the starlit night away, as I softly sigh.
Sweet September morning drown me now in dew
Though I know I'm not the only, admirer of you.
Sweet September morning, prop up from 'neath the ground.
And show us now the beauty, that we haven't found.
Sweet September morning, bring to us the sun
The golden rays of warmth and light, that you have always spun.
Sweet September morning, don't leave me here alone.
I could not bear to have you pass, after all that you have shown.
