STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MCDOWELL... NORTHWESTERN RUTHERFORD...EAST CENTRAL TRANSYLVANIA...HENDERSON... NORTHWESTERN POLK AND SOUTHEASTERN BUNCOMBE COUNTIES THROUGH 2:15 PM EDT.
- At 138 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles south of Downtown Asheville to 11 miles north of Columbus.
- Movement was northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Hendersonville, Arden, Black Mountain, Mills River, Fletcher, Swannanoa, Flat Rock, Etowah, Fairview In Buncombe County, and Mountain Home.
