We have had a very good day today! As of 6:30 PM our outages in this region have been nearly 100% restored.

There are still around 80,000 customers out across the Carolinas. As the wintery weather subsides, there are some breezy/windy conditions tonight and tomorrow, along with refreezing, that could cause additional damage here. If so, we will be ready to respond.

Safety reminder: As we know, snow and ice can cause hazardous driving conditions resulting in traffic accidents and downed power poles resulting in isolated outages. We ask the community to MOVE OVER if they encounter emergency responders or other roadside work crews and stay away from power lines that have fallen or are sagging. Please remember the safety tips shown here.
