Partial Road Blockage for Yacht Island on 2/17-18/22

Traffic Update

The Yacht Island Bridge and Road will be partially blocked at times for a large crane on Thursday and Friday, February 17-18, 2022 between 7am and 5pm. 

* The crane will stay on Yacht Island Drive for both days.
* The road will remain partially blocked to traffic from 2/17 at 7AM, when the crane comes in until 2/18 evening when job is completed.  
* Access to Yacht Island will still be available and residents/guests will be able to enter and exit the island; 
* However, traffic patterns will be limited in that cars will not be able to travel around the full circle.  
* Power lines will be de-energized for some homes on Yacht Island on Thursday, February 17th only.  Duke Energy is contacting customers that will be affected.
