New Public Safety/Services Boat House

The Town of Lake Lure was pleased to receive the new Public Safety/Services Boat House this week.  The boat house is being erected in Pool Creek Picnic Park but it will be relocated to the Lake Operations Building near the Lake Lure Dam. 

The new Public Safety/Service Boat House is a floating structure that will provide coverage and access to the Town's fire boats year-round.  The floating structure will allow our Fire Department/Emergency Management Team to access the boats, even when the lake is drawn down, enhancing safety and services for the citizens of Lake Lure.
