BEAUTIFUL BEAR AUCTION
Members of the Friends of the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge announced that this year’s online fundraiser auction is “Loaded for Bear!” The Lake Lure Artists and friends have donated thirty-five unique, and creatively decorated, one-of-a-kind bears on a 24” x 18” wooden canvas to benefit the sustainability of the Bridge. Visitors are now able to see all the bears up close and personal on the Bridge or online at LakeLureFloweringBridge.org, where they will be on display through October 24. Bidding began on Friday, October 15, when the auction officially opened. The auction will be live through noon on October 24. Each bear is a treasure that can enhance any garden, deck or wall. It’s time to get bear on the bridge!
The Lake Lure Flowering Bridge, “A Gateway to Somewhere Beautiful,” located on Hwy. 64/74A in Lake Lure, NC, is free and open every day for your enjoyment. The design, creation and maintenance of the Bridge is made possible by the Friends of the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge, a community-based 501 (c ) 3 non-profit organization.

The price only includes the decorated bear and must be picked up at the Flowering Bridge on October 25-28 between 10 am and 2 pm. Shipping can be arranged for an additional cost.
If you win a bear we must receive your payment before the auction ends on 10/24/2021.
