Lake Lure Tours, Beach & Water Park
On a hot day, people come from all around to enjoy the unique lakeside water park in the mountains of Lake Lure.
The beach by the lake is perhaps one of our community’s most well-known landmarks, as visitors and residents visit the beach on a regular basis.
The beach and water park consists of approximately 3-acres and is located in the Town Center.
Like the lake, the beach and water park are owned by the Town of Lake Lure and managed by contractual agreement with a private company.

Group rates are available. Rental space for a variety of special, corporate, and family events is also an option.
**Lake Lure property owners have free access to the beach.
Facilities include:
- 100 yards of clean, sandy beach and swimming area
- Ticket office, change area, bathrooms, and snacks
- A water park with water slides and water games
- Large covered picnic shelter on the beach
- Individual picnic tables
- Marked parking for 70 vehicles
