Hazardous Weather Outlook - Tuesday, 7/5/22

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlookfor the following areas: western North Carolina, northeast Georgia, and upstate South Carolina.

DAY ONE - 7/5/22: Today and tonight. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will develop across the area this afternoon, and will be capable of producing dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning, isolated heavy rainfall, and gusty winds. A few of the storms may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN: Wednesday through Monday. A cluster of loosely-organized thunderstorms may enter the forecast area on Wednesday night. Some of these storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and small hail, and all will be capable of producing dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning and extremely heavy rainfall.
