This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

Thursday - Today and tonight:  Scattered thunderstorms will develop across the area today. A few of the storms could become severe with damaging winds the main threat, but large hail is also possible. A few of the storms could contain heavy rainfall as well, leading to ponding of water on roadways and low-lying areas.

Friday:  Scattered thunderstorms will develop across the area on Friday. A few of the storms could become severe with damaging winds the main threat, but large hail is also possible.
