FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE FRIDAY NIGHT.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

Nicole will bring heavy rainfall and gusty winds tonight into Friday night. The highest rainfall amounts look to fall along the Blue Ridge Escarpment and could range from 3 to 4.5 inches. The rest of the area could see rainfall amounts from 1 to 3 inches. Locally higher rainfall amounts will be possible. This could lead to the potential for isolated flash flooding, especially along the Blue Ridge Escarpment and in urban areas.
