Employment Opportunity - Administrative Utilities Specialist.
The Town of Lake Lure is accepting applications for an Administrative Utilities Specialist. An employee in this class is responsible for assisting the Public Services Director with maintaining computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) program, including scheduling, purchasing, coordination of State reporting programs, and various other administrative tasks in the department. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting in field project support and scheduling.
Work requires maintaining all vendor and contractor invoicing and insurance regulations. The incumbent will assist with work in the field when manpower shortages and emergency weather events occur. The employee is subject to hazards in Public Works Services including working in both inside and outside environments, around noises, and sometimes extreme atmospheric conditions. Work may be required during some nights and weekends. Work is performed under general supervision of the Public Services Director and is reviewed through observation, conferences, reports and review of performance in the assigned areas of responsibility. The salary range is $38,726-$58,089 plus benefits which include health, dental, vision, life insurance and retirement.
