Hurricane Preparedness

The Town of Lake Lure is preparing for rain associated with Hurricane Ian.  We are expecting to receive between 4 and 5 inches of rain this weekend, depending on the course of the hurricane. We plan to begin proactively lowering the lake level up to an additional 3 feet (985.5 MSL) starting 9/27/22 in preparation for the storm.
