DELAYED OPENING - PLEASE PREPARE FOR ICE AND SNOW FRIDAY

Town Hall will have a delayed opening today, Friday, January 21, 2022 at 12:00 PM. Town roads have been plowed but please beware of black ice if you are traveling due to freezing temperatures overnight and this morning. The following update is from the National Weather Service at 5:18 AM EST Thursday, January 21, 2022. Hazardous Weather Outlook is for piedmont North Carolina, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

DAY ONE...Today and tonight: Light snow showers are expected to develop this afternoon and continue into the early overnight period. Snowfall amounts will be
light, however, some roadways could become slick with compacted snow.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday: No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
