Debris Removal from Morse Park

The Army Corps of Engineers started removing around 8,000 cubic yards of sand and sediment from Morse Park this past week. The sand was a result of Hurricane Helene storm damage. Efforts continue in partnership with local, state and federal agencies, to include the FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency, in response to the historic flooding from Hurricane Helene. We are forever grateful!
