On A Clear Day...You Can See Forever in Lake Lure

It's a gorgeous clear Saturday in Lake Lure. We received very little snow but the frosty overnight flurries were magical. Enjoy this view of the wintery landscape from Bill's Mountain.

WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT: Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. A few gusts of 50 mph or more are possible in the highest elevations.

* WHERE: The mountains and foothills of the Carolinas and northeast Georgia.

* WHEN: Until 4 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
