Captain Dave DiOrio (USN retired) Honored as Navy Federal Credit Union’s “Hero of the Game”

This weekend, Captain Dave DiOrio (USN retired and Town of Lake Lure's Mayor Pro Tem) was honored as Navy Federal Credit Union’s “Hero of the Game” at a recent Carolina Hurricanes game in Raleigh, NC. The award was in recognition of his twenty six year active duty service in the U.S. submarine force.
