Arts & Crafts Festival Raises Funds to Eliminate Hunger, Help Lake Lure Families in Need
LAKE LURE, N.C. (WLOS) — This weekend, a free event in Lake Lure showcased artists' work from across the region. The Lake Lure Arts and Crafts Festival, which ran Oct. 15-16, 2022, took place across from the entrance to the Lake Lure beach. There were 95 vendors that featured different types of art forms, from painting and photography to textiles and more.
"It's very well attended, it's a charming venue, it's well-organized," said Kathy Kobos, a vendor at the event who owns Piece by Peace. "If you're a leaf person and out touring the area, it's a beautiful drive, it's small, it's quaint."
