Ahhh the Lake is Looking Lovely! Help Us Keep It That Way!

Many people are getting their boats back in water which is great to see. While the lake was down this year we were able to accomplish excavation dredging in the river next to Morse Park. Approximately 13,616 cubic yards of material was dredged from the Lake during the drawdown. As a reference point, this is the equivalent of 4 Olympic size swimming pools. We cannot continue to excavate while the lake is up but hydraulic dredging is expected to continue throughout the year.

Our Parks, Recreation, and Lake Department team is working hard to pick up lake debris but be cautious of this material if you are out on the water before this is removed. To request lake debris pick up you may enter a request from the homepage of the Town's website at www.townoflakelure.com. Look for the "Fix It" icon in the center of the page to enter a request.
