7/16/21 COVID-19 UPDATE:

There are no new cases in Lake Lure as of this date. There have been (178) Total Positive COVID-19 Cases in the Lake Lure zip code (28746). Sadly there have been 4 deaths. We continue to hold the families of these individuals in our hearts.

Rutherford County has had (7,492) Total Positive Cases as of this date. The Percent Positivity Rate is now up to 6.8% (the average over the past 14 days). Sadly, there have been (220) Total Deaths related to COVID-19 in our County. We lift up the families and friends of these individuals. The total number of people vaccinated with at least one dose in the County is now 21,689 (32%). We encourage those who are not currently vaccinated to taken the vaccine. In NC there have been (1,022,876) COVID-19 cases as of 7/16/21. Hospitalizations are now back up to (536388). Sadly, there have been (13,523) deaths related to COVID-19. We are so sorry for the loss these families and friends have experienced. The Percent Positivity Rate for NC is now 4.3%.
