Tropical Storm Helene Preparations - Lowering Lake Levels Further:

The Town of Lake Lure, NC has been monitoring the National Weather Service forecasts and their confidence in the rain amounts forecasted for our area over the next two days. The lake is being proactively lowered an additional foot, bringing the total storm preparation to 3 feet below full pond at 987.5 mean sea level (MSL).

Please secure boats and personal property near the lake shore and prepare for potential power outages.
