The Lake Lure Town Council has called for a Special Meeting to be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Lake Lure Town Hall. Town Hall is located at 2948 Memorial Highway, Lake Lure, North Carolina 28746.

Town Council will begin the meeting with a closed session in accordance with G.S. 143-318.11 (a) (6) for the purpose of discussing personnel matters. Upon returning to open session, Council and various town staff will deliberate about the following agenda items:

  • Connection Agreement Discussion
  • Town Infrastructure Location Discussion
  • 2022 Town Council Meeting Schedule Amendment
  • Statutory and Advisory Board Meetings Discussion
  • Drawdown Schedule – Dredging and HDD Discussions
  • Request for Additional Positions
    • Zoning and Code Enforcement Specialist
    • Parks, Recreation, and Lake Administrative Support Specialist
  • Pool Creek Bridge Lighting Project
  • Budget Update
  • PANGAEA Update

This notice is issued on the 21st day of March, 2022 in accordance with the laws and ordinances of the State of North Carolina and the Town of Lake Lure.
