COVID-19 Updates - May 24, 2021

There have been (177) Total Positive COVID-19 Cases in the Lake Lure zip code (28746). Sadly there have been 4 deaths. We continue to hold the families of these individuals in our hearts.
 
Rutherford County has had (7,394) Total Positive Cases as of this date. The Percent Positivity Rate is now at 4% (the average over the past 14 days). Sadly, there have been (2013) Total Deaths related to COVID-19 in our County. We lift up the families and friends of these individuals. The total number of people vaccinated with at least one dose in the County is now 19,942 (9.8%) to date.
 
In NC there have been (998,176) COVID-19 cases as of 5/24/21. Hospitalizations are now down to (680). Sadly, there have been (12,987) deaths related to COVID-19. We are so sorry for the loss these families and friends have experienced. The Percent Positivity Rate for NC is now down to 3.7%.
