Employment Opportunity - Hydroelectric Utilities Supervisor
The Town of Lake Lure is seeking qualified applicants for a Hydroelectric Utilities Supervisor.
Work involves the management, technical and professional oversight for the dam and hydroelectric operations and maintenance functions regulating appropriate lake levels and operating and maintaining the Town’s Hydroelectric Generation System and Waste Water Treatment Plant.
This is a supervisory position that works with a team of technicians responsible for maintaining and operating power plant electrical systems and mechanical control equipment, and a small Waste Water Treatment Plant.
An Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience is required. Five or more years of industrial maintenance experience and five years as a supervisor in industrial maintenance or planning and scheduling is desired. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of the fundamental electrical, automation, and mechanical aspects of industrial plant systems. A valid North Carolina driver’s license is required.
This position is exempt and salary will be determined based on experience within a range of $55,758 - $83,637.
