Welcome New Town Clerk - Olivia Stewman

Olivia Stewman joined the Town of Lake Lure in July 2021 and was sworn in as Town Clerk.  Olivia is from Franklin, NC.  She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in political science – public administration from Appalachian State University.  She completed her Master’s of Public Administration – town, city, and county management from Appalachian State University. She completed an internship in local government settings before beginning her career in Lake Lure.  When asked about her thoughts on joining the Lake Lure team Olivia stated, “I am passionate about local government and plan to remain in local government for the entirety of my career.  I am very excited to be a part of the team!”  The Town of Lake Lure is pleased to have Olivia serving as Town Clerk.
