Nestled on a hilltop in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, The Shaded Crest is a serene retreat on seven private, wooded acres in Lake Lure. Our six thoughtfully renovated cabins and studios, complimented by a saltwater pool, spa and inviting communal spaces, offer the perfect blend of comfort and nature. The Shaded Crest is conveniently located 4 miles from Chimney Rock State Park and Village and 3 miles to the Lake Lure Marina and Beach. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a hike, a day on the lake or the Rocky Broad River, or a wandering drive to explore the many small towns or cities close to Lake Lure.
Our thoughtfully renovated cabins and outdoor communal spaces encourage our guests to spend the day taking in the natural allure of the surrounding areas and come back to take refuge lounging by the salt water pool and spa, uniting by the fire pit or snuggling up in their cabin. The Shaded Crest is designed to accommodate every traveler’s style; it is secluded yet accessible with communal spaces to meet fellow travelers while still having a private space to retreat to.
